Tech billionaire Elon Musk and conservative influencer Ashley St Clair found themselves at the center of a heated public feud on Monday, with both individuals making bold claims about their relationship and child support arrangements.

The altercation unfolded on X (formerly Twitter), where St. Clair accused Musk of reducing his financial support for their child by 60%, forcing her to sell her $100K Tesla, and withholding a paternity test. In her claims, St. Clair, a vocal MAGA supporter, stated that Musk’s behavior was in stark contrast to the image of responsibility he portrays, not only impacting her but also the finances of others connected to his ventures.

Ashley St Clair, who has described herself as a conservative political commentator, revealed that she had given birth to Musk’s 13th child. According to her, Musk’s decision to cut back on child support by a significant amount left her struggling. She suggested that Musk’s financial mismanagement was not confined to her, adding, “You can check the stocks, I’m not the only one who is cleaning up after his messes.”

Her statements alluded to the downturn in Tesla’s stock prices, implying that the world’s richest man had left others—whether it be investors or people close to him—facing the fallout from his decisions. Musk, however, took to X to defend himself against the accusations.

He publicly denied St. Clair’s claims of a 60% reduction in child support and instead emphasized that he had provided more than $2 million in financial support for her and their child. Musk also made it clear that he was not opposed to taking a paternity test to confirm the child’s parentage, stating, “I don’t know if the child is mine or not, but I am not against finding out. No court order is needed.”

Musk’s defense highlighted that despite the uncertainty surrounding the child’s paternity, he had already contributed substantial sums of money to St. Clair’s well-being, claiming that he was sending $500,000 per year and had provided an additional $2.5 million. Ashley St Clair, on the other hand, has been vocal about her desire for privacy regarding their child’s identity.

In a previous post, she confirmed that Musk was the father, but stated that she had kept it private for the safety and privacy of their son. “I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that the tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause,” St. Clair wrote.

She further emphasized that her decision to file for sole custody in February was motivated by the desire to raise their child in a “normal and safe environment.” The drama surrounding Musk and Ashley St Clair comes at a time when the billionaire’s personal life is attracting more media scrutiny, particularly regarding his numerous children with different women.

Two weeks after St. Clair’s post, Musk’s other partner, Shivon Zilis, confirmed the birth of their child, which would be Musk’s 14th if St. Clair’s child is indeed his. Zilis shared a heartfelt message about their newborn, describing the child as “built like a juggernaut, with a solid heart of gold.”

Musk responded to Zilis’ post with a heart emoji, reinforcing his connection to the child. While this public confrontation is only the latest chapter in Musk’s complicated personal and family life, it highlights the tension between public figures and the media, as well as the complex dynamics surrounding wealth, responsibility, and privacy.

Whether or not Ashley St Clair’s accusations hold any weight, the public spectacle of the feud has certainly drawn attention to Musk’s private life in ways that he may have preferred to avoid.
